My Approach
For camera shy couples.
I don’t make the day about the photo’s & drag you away for a 2 hour photo shoot. The whole day is 99% unposed & candid photography. Pretty much every one of my clients & enquiries say they don’t enjoy having their photo taken. So my job is to make you feel as comfortable as possible on one of the biggest day’s of your life.
Group shots won’t take an hour, only 15 minutes. I want you to enjoy your day & spend it with friends & family. Not spend it stood in a line getting your photo taken. Your wedding is a reflection of your personality, so It’s important to me that your photos do the same. I stay as unobtrusive as possible, hopefully you won’t even notice I’m there.

How do I work?
Before
Lets get on zoom together and get to know each other. I’d love to find out your story of how you met.
We’ll talk about how the day works and what you both want. I’ll answer any questions you have and go over in detail how I do things.
After the call (If you wish to go ahead of course) I’ll send the invoice and contract to you, after paid and signed the date is yours. I like to keep things simple and have a no nonsense approach to booking & pricing. No hidden costs etc.
Between booking and the day itself we can talk at any point about idea’s or just a general catch up. You’ll see me in your inbox sending you inspiration & advice. I’m always here to help. We catch up a couple of weeks before the wedding and go over everything in detail.
During
I want you both totally relaxed about photography. Just know a friendly & relaxed photographer (me!) is here with you every step of the way. Here to have a laugh, put on button holes & even be your therapist if needs be. I GOT YOU!
SO, I usually arrive 3 hours before ceremony. I like to get there in good time and capture the getting ready stuff.
The dreaded group shots: I don’t mess about when it comes to groups. I will have the list before the day, usually a list of 10 and I rattle through them super quick. I don’t want you & guests stood round for an hour bored out of your mind. I want you to spend as much time with loved ones as possible. This day is not about me.
Couples photo’s: Maybe feeling a bit nervous about this bit? I totally get it, most of my clients feel this way. 10/15 minutes of you both walking and chatting around the location whilst I around like a mad man getting the best shots. We’ll have a laugh with it I promise.
You’ll see me bopping about with my camera’s capturing everything I can from the day.
I just want to enjoy your day and have the most amazing time. It flys over so enjoy every moment.
After
WOW. You did it! Congratulations. Now time to relax & maybe take some paracetamol?! Going on a mini moon, honey moon or back to your home? I’ll be backing up, culling & editing your images as soon as I can. You will get your photo’s and/or film within 4 weeks. When you get your images, pop a bottle of something cold, sit back and enjoy.
