Experienced Beamish Hall wedding photographer

As a busy Durham wedding photographer, I get to work at all the best Durham wedding venues, and this is certainly the case when I return to be a Beamish Hall wedding photographer. Beamish Hall is situated in the beautiful Derwent Valley amongst 24 acres of rolling parklands. A fairy tale setting for a wedding, it offers endless choice for couples looking to get married. The rich history of Beamish Hall dates it back to Norman times in the 13th century when it was a fortified Farmhouse, which was later taken down to build the current Manor House in the early 17th century. Today, it stands as a luxurious Grade II listed country house hotel and
premier Durham wedding venue. When it comes to weddings. Beamish Hall can accommodate everything from intimate
elopements for two through to grand celebrations for 300 guests and just about everything you can imagine in between.

Most wedding ceremonies take in the majestic Shafto Hall. This impressive suite has oak panelling, stained glass windows and a minstrels’ gallery which is the perfect spot for this Durham wedding photographer to capture some amazing group images. If you’re looking for a classical or vintage look then this is it. Common Room is perfectly suited for civil marriage ceremonies and for smaller wedding receptions. Brimming with period features, the Common Room can accommodate up to 70 guests for a wedding ceremony and 40 guest for a seated wedding breakfast. Outdoor wedding ceremonies can be held in either on the beautiful manicured lawns
overlooking the gardens. Or you can enjoy an enchanting woodland wedding. When I capture wedding photography at Beamish Hall, I love photographing outdoor ceremonies. The gentle breeze brings a lovely movement to images that you just don’t get at an indoor
wedding ceremony. The team at Beamish Hall always ensure an indoor option is always ready to go in case of unexpected rain.
Wedding receptions can take place in a number of suites. Monboucher has stunning bay windows that overlook acres of parklands. It has fabulous original feature like marble columns, a chandeliered ceiling with intricate plaster work, an ornate fireplace and mirrors.
It also has own bar area for you to relax in allowing your wedding to be seamlessly transformed from day to evening celebrations.

Winter Gardens is a fantastic suite with a marquee style roof and a stunning terrace. Large windows flood the space with tons of natural light. It really is an awesome space for wedding receptions and a real favourite with us Durham wedding photographers. It can accommodate weddings of 80 guests through to 300 making it ideal for large and Asian weddings. The

When it comes to food, Beamish Hall’s very talented in-house chefs talk with couples to create stunning bespoke wedding menus covering everything from elegant canapes, to fine dining, to tasty evening food using the finest locally sourced ingredients. The same goes for drinks, champagne, a cocktail hour, espresso martinis or a fun gin station. Whatever your favourite tipple, they’ll have it. For guest accommodation, Beamish Hall offers 44 individually designed rooms for guests to lay their head down after the evening party. They also offer a luxury apartment that not only makes the perfect honeymoon suite, but doubles up as the perfect preparation area on the morning of the wedding. The perfect place for me to get those all important ‘morning of the wedding’ images.
